Purpose Driven Exercise

I have written previously about the benefit of exercise in general.

Here, I want to share my personal goal why I love exercise and why exercise become part of my daily life. (I can't live without it )

Exercise is like addiction for me in positive way.

My primary goal for exercising is not having perfect body like models or influencers in instagram neither having six packs abs etc, but it's for my mental training.

I remembered when I started exercising couple years back, weight training with 2kg dumbbells was really something. My muscles were sore afterwards.
And now, I have been training with 6kg dumbbells.

Previously, I was not comfortable trying something new or using heavy weight on machine, I loved my status quo, exercised the same regime over and over again.
But with the help of personal trainer that I hired here and there, he opened my mindset that I need to have a courage to go out from comfort zone.

Sometimes, the personal trainer will push me off the limit and by the end of the training session, I feel a sense of achievement.

Since then, I have been pushing myself more and more every time I exercised.
I change and modify my exercise here and there, increasing the weight or the frequency.

The benefits I gain from exercise :
- Positive mindset
I'm able to see things positively when facing with the life challenges instead of creating unnecessary anxiety

- Aim higher
By increasing the weight and frequency of exercise every month, it helps me to reflect how I should apply it in life

- Feel and look young
This is secondary benefit which I feel good about myself. I feel more energetic, restless in positive way and active like young people

- Look Fabulous
This is another secondary benefit which I can fit any cloth I like or rather the cloth looks good on me when I wear it haha...

With all those benefits, how can I live without exercise
